Because having twins is no walk in the park

Our evening went as followed:

Mommy decides today has been enough, and a walk at the park with the girls will help sooth things over.

Gets to park, it’s fairly empty, babies are excited- things are looking promising.

1 minute into walk- Nadia starts pulling Norah’s hair and will not stop.

5 minutes into walk: Mosquitoes also start attacking Norah.

9.5 minutes into walk: Babies smile for a brief moment, Mommy snaps picture.

10 minutes into walk: Nadia starts having a temper tantrum, so Mommy tries holding her with one arm and pushing Norah in the stroller with the other

11 minutes into walk: Norah (bless her, she’s been so sweet) gets jealous that Mommy’s holding Nadia so she also starts to scream.

12 minutes in: Both babies are screaming. Social distancing is not a problem because anyone in their right mind starts avoiding us like the plague.

13: Finally make it back to car. Nadia gets really upset at the idea of being in her car seat, starts screaming and throwing arms around. Mommy accidentally squishes her finger in the seat belt buckle. All hell has broken loose. Babies and Mommy are now crying.

On the way home: both babies scream the entire way.

It’s been A DAY, y’all. Thank God they’re cute.
